Vanessa Michielon is a London-based Movement specialist and founder of the Transformative Movement Method, empowering people of all walks of life to embrace Yoga, Pilates and Dance in order to improve physical health and achieve a balanced state of mind. Informed by Neuroscience and a somatic approach, TMM is built on 4 movement pillars – Restore, Flow, Empower and Release, which embody Yoga for Mental Health, Pilates and Dance principles to regulate our nervous system and develop a positive relationship with our body.
Vanessa has a Master Degree in Dance Performance, a PhD in Sociology and is specialised in Yoga Therapy for Anxiety, Advanced Yoga Psychology, Applied Polyvagal Theory in Therapeutic Yoga, Barre, Level 3 Pilates, Pre-Postnatal Pilates, Pilates for Orthopedic conditions, Mandala Vinyasa, Yin Yoga. She has been teaching for over 12 years, including for some of London leading boutique studios and clubs, serving the role of Head of Yoga, Head of Pilates and Yoga teacher trainer, and showcasing at renowned wellness festivals such as Balance and Livewell.
Her 121 programmes are uniquely tailored around her clients’ needs: from anxiety management to back pain relief, mobility and flexibility enhancement to safe core strengthening, she is looking forward to helping more people improve their physical and mental health. She believes that embodied movement can truly transform our lives and wishes to support others in finding joy and purpose in their practice.
