Chrissy is a classical Pilates, Barre and Yoga instructor with a deep passion for movement and holistic forms of exercise. She has been teaching for over 25 years and combines teaching with her role as director of Silver Linings Wellbeing and ongoing international choreographic commitments. After eight years of training at the prestigious Royal Ballet School and a dance career that saw Chrissy dance with both the Royal Ballet and Birmingham Royal Ballet, an ankle injury led her to discover the rehabilitative effects of the Pilates method. Chrissy subsequently completed two full Pilates trainings, one in the UK and later with Power Pilates NYC. She has also completed several Barre and Yoga trainings around the world including a focus on pre/post-natal training in Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Advanced Pilates. She has owned and led several Pilates studios and worked for a number of years with Barrecore London. In 2015 she founded Silver Linings Retreats (later Wellbeing) which offers transformational luxury retreats, immersive wellness events and a thriving digital wellness channel feature Chrissy and a curated group of fitness and wellness leaders. Chrissy's focus as a teacher is always to challenge each client appropriately and focus on building a mind-body connection that goes beyond the work in the studio or on retreat - to create a long-term body awareness and a true sense of wellbeing.
