Gen Greensted
I launched The Barre Coach app in December 2023, but my journey in the wellness industry began in 2020 when I first started my business. Over the past few years, I’ve expanded beyond digital workouts to offer in-person classes, 1:1 training, and community-driven events. Before stepping into the world of fitness, I worked in menswear marketing, but discovering Barre was a complete game-changer for me. It transformed not only my approach to fitness but also my mindset, confidence, and overall wellbeing. That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing it with other women—especially those juggling busy lives, businesses, and families. I specialise in Barre workouts which are low-impact but high-intensity. I love helping women discover a form of exercise they can fall in love with them and as a pre and postnatal corrective exercise specialist, I can also support them through some of life’s major milestones. My approach is personal and highly tailored—I work closely with new members to help them find the right workouts for their bodies and lifestyles. As a mum to a 2.5-year-old boy, I completely understand how hard it can be to fit movement into a busy schedule, which is why I’ve designed The Barre Coach to be flexible, effective, and empowering. I want my members to feel supported, whether they’re squeezing in a quick workout at home, attending a live class, or joining one of our challenges.
